In the letter to myself, I mostly asked myself questions so I could reflect on what my life has been like and if I made the decisions I thought I would now. I am a very indecisive person so I tried to look at where I see myself in my future versus what my future is actually gonna be like.  For the image I decided to go with a heart as it represents the love I have for the world around me and everything I have done in my life. I don't regret anything I have done and have always looked passed the bad times.  I created the heart by taking a square and turning it 45 degrees. After turning it 45 degrees I used the pen tool to arch the top sides of the square to make a heart. When choosing the font I chose noteworthy because I really liked how the font looked and thought it fit how I am as a person. I also chose to make sections of my letter different colors to emphasize all the colors that I like and just to make it seem more colorful and playful.

Somewhere Project

  For the Somewhere project, I decided to choose a scene from the movie Baby Driver. This scene is very iconic as is one of the best movies scenes that does not have dialogue yet tells a whole story. I decided to use this specific photo from the scene as there was space for me to put a photo of myself in without disrupting it a whole lot. When taking the photo of myself I tried to make it so I wasn't taking away too much from the scene.  Overall this project was difficult as it took me a while to get the cut out perfect and to make sure that the photo was positioned correctly to make it really look like I was in the scene. It also took some time to get the coloring to be similar to the original photo. This project took me around 2 hours to create as there were some areas where it got tricky. I however really like how it turned out.

Business Cards

  I really enjoyed this project as business cards are very important when you want to make connections with people. The first business card I made was the black one with the yellow logo. For the front of the card I decided to put the logo on the left and my name, major, and contact information on the right. For the back of it I just put the logo in the middle. I chose to make the background of the card black to make the yellow stand out. When creating the text I decided to put my name in white to make it stand out and then did the rest of the text in yellow so that it went with the color of the logo.  The second card I did was the pink one. For this one, I chose a dark pink background so that it went with the pink logo yet let the logo stand out more. I did the same layout as the first card yet this time only put the ad/pr part in a lighter pink to match the logo. I also used a different font to make it a little more mature and fancier.  The last business card I made was the blue one.

Autoscopy

  For this autoscopy project, I decided to have a space and flower theme. For the background, I took a photo of Outerspace off the internet and used the magnetic lasso tool, mask layer, and brush tool to make it look like I am in Outerspace. I also used another space like photo on my skin. When putting the space photo over my skin I decreased the opacity so that you could still see my face. I used the same tools as I did for the background to fit the photo on my face and neck. To add to the Outerspace theme I also added a moon, Saturn, and another planet. This added color to the photo rather than just having black and purple. When adding the Saturn I also changed the hue and saturation to make it blue rather than the original color of brown. I added the flowers to make the photo creative and different. I decided to do purple flowers because I felt like that went with the Outerspace photos.
